2. In the Settings window, click on "Apps" and then select "Apps & features" from the left-hand menu.

3. Scroll down and click on the "Optional features" link.

4. On the Optional features page, click on "Add a feature."

5. Scroll through the list and find "Microsoft Edge Legacy Blocking Tool" or "Internet Explorer Legacy Blocking Tool" depending on the browser you want to block websites on.

6. Click on the respective blocking tool and select "Install."

7. Once the installation is complete, close the Optional features window.

8. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

9. Type "notepad" (without quotes) and press Enter to open Notepad.

10. In Notepad, click on "File" and select "Open."

11. Navigate to the following path:

   C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

12. In the "Open" dialog box, change the file type to "All Files."

13. Open the "hosts" file.

14. Add the following line at the end of the file to block a website:

   127.0.0.1    websiteURL

Replace "websiteURL" with the actual URL of the website you want to block.

15. Save the hosts file and close Notepad.

16. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After following these steps, the website you added to the hosts file will be blocked on your Windows 11 system. Whenever you or any user tries to access that website using any browser, it will be redirected to the local machine, preventing access to the website.
